Did you know that Angi’s status with the Better Business Bureau is currently REVOKED. Not good, not bad, not not rated. Actually REVOKED. You have to seriously mess up to end up with a revoked status on the BBB of all places. So what did Angi do to earn this dubious distinction:
On 02/22/2022 this business's accreditation in the BBB was revoked by the BBB's Board of Directors due to failure by the business to adhere to the BBB requirement that Accredited Businesses meet and abide by the following standards:
1C. Be free from government action that demonstrates a significant failure to support BBB ethical principles. BBB evaluates the action and makes a determination on adherence to this standard based on the nature of the violation and the extent of harm it caused or is alleged to have caused, whether it was caused or condoned by management, and actions taken to resolve underlying issues that led to the government action.

The key phrase here is “significant failure to support BBB ethical principles.” If Angi was found to be significantly deficient in ethical principles that even the BBB concluded that they deserved the “revoked” status, that calls into question many, many other thinks about their business practices that they absolutely need to clarify before users can trust them again.
